1.1. Recruitment criteria
Deputy Head of Financial Investment Department
- Advise and assist the Head of the Department in managing the work of the Financial Investment Department according to assigned work areas.
- Participate in developing investment strategies, potential investment portfolios, investment and divestment plans, and monitor the progress of implementing the business plan assigned to the Department annually by the Board of Directors.
- Independently conduct investment opportunity research, direct research implementation, disbursement, internal approval, and post-investment portfolio management for assigned work areas. Proactively assess risks to existing investment portfolios and propose solutions.
- Expanding relations with state management agencies and partners in the financial market.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Board of Directors and Department Head. Tasks may include: summary reports, international cooperation, giving opinions on building regulations and procedures, recruiting personnel, conducting internal training instructions, etc.
Deputy Director of the fund management company : An officer seconded by SIC to participate in the Executive Board of the Fund Management Company in which SIC is expected to contribute capital.
- Coordinate and assist the CEO in performing tasks related to the fund management company's operations (strategy development, search and evaluation of investment opportunities, portfolio management, fundraising support, relations with regulatory agencies, etc.)
- Responsible for monitoring operations and reporting to SIC's Board of Directors to preserve capital and promote the effectiveness of SIC's investment at the Fund Management Company.
1.2. Recruitment requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, auditing, banking or higher in a full-time program. Priority is given to candidates with a Master's degree from a prestigious university abroad.
- Have at least 5 years of working experience in similar positions at foreign fund management companies, investment departments of securities companies, banks, insurance companies...
- Have a fund management practice certificate issued by the State Securities Commission or have one of the following international certificates: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) level 2 or higher, CIIA level II (Certified International Investment Analyst).
- Have in-depth knowledge and experience in investing in financial products such as stocks, bonds, and term products.
- Have in-depth understanding of portfolio risk management processes.
- Ability to work independently to direct the team to implement investment opportunities including the following steps: searching for opportunities, evaluating and analyzing, coordinating with legal departments to negotiate draft contract terms, monitoring the internal approval process, supervising the disbursement process, and managing the portfolio after investment.
- Ability to build relationships with investment and financial institutions in the market to seek investment opportunities.
- Foreign language ability: ability to work in an English-only environment.
2. Financial investment specialist position
2.1. Recruitment criteria
- Research, conduct business and industry valuations, analyze financial statements and market data;
- Assess the company's financial situation, including analyzing the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and income forecast report to create a forecasting model for the company's operations;
- Update market developments, new investment products and areas that are likely to impact the market;
- Make recommendations on opportunities to Management, be able to position ideas and present to Manage the risks and expected returns of recommendations;
- Write analytical reports for leaders and customers;
- Visit businesses, attend seminars and related events. Build relationships with business leaders, prepare documents and information for research activities;
- Respond to requests from customers, business personnel and the public about stocks and businesses in the assigned industry group;
- Search and propose investment ideas.
2.2. Recruitment requirements
- Graduated from university majoring in economics, finance, banking, accounting, auditing or higher in regular program. Priority is given to candidates with Master's degree from prestigious universities abroad.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial investment industry (domestic or international)
- Have knowledge of macroeconomics, industry analysis and evaluation.
- Ability to perform screening analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities in a top down and bottom up manner.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate risks of investment opportunities.
- Foreign language ability: ability to work in an English-only environment.
- Passing CFA (at least level 1) is an advantage.
